First Friday is a self-guided walking tour of Downtown Greensboro’s galleries, shops, art studios, & alternative venues that participate with programmed arts events 6 to 9pm on the First Friday of every month.
OUR MISSION is to open the doors of Greensboro’s arts community by joining together and introducing a wider audience to the unique vitality of artists set within venues of Downtown Greensboro to support our local creative community and encourage local commerce.
First Friday is an opportunity to discover Greensboro’s local artistic community and support of locally-owned, independent businesses located in Downtown. The event is promoted through a partnership between Downtown Greensboro Inc. and the United Arts Council of Greater Greensboro.
Information about your participation in First Friday should be emailed to Downtown Greensboro Inc. to firstfriday@downtowngreensboro.net with “First Friday” (and month) noted in the subject line.

Partnering sites program free events from 6 to 9pm along this walkable, self-guided tour.
